Conservation Areas
Through our Conservation Areas, we are able to protect valuable ecosystems. This includes sensitive areas such as wetlands, source water areas, or fragile habitats. Kawartha Conservation has three Conservation Areas including Ken Reid, Windy Ridge, and Pigeon River Headwaters. We also manage Fleetwood Creek Natural Area. All of the properties we own or manage provide trails for hiking and nature appreciation.
