Our 2019 Nature Explorer Camps are week-long nature-themed summer camps for youth ages 6-10.  These outdoor camps takes place at Ken Reid Conservation Area and feature fun, hands-on, interactive activities that teach participants environmental education and outdoor skills. These camps are a great way to make new friends and stay active while enjoying a natural setting minutes from Lindsay. 

Cost - $190/child for the first week, $150/child for any additional week

NOTE: Discount available if you have two children enrolled in the same week of camp.  $190 for the first child, $150 for the second.

Week 1 – July 8-12
Themes will include;  Bugs, Trees and Shrubs, Wildlife, Nature Games and Geocaching/Orienteering.  Special guest this week will be Kawartha Wildlife Centre.


Week 2 – July 22-26
Themes will include;  All about water, Birds, Turtles, Wilderness Skills/Shelter Building and Nature Art.  Special guest this week will be Ontario Turtle Conservation.


Week 3 – August 12-16

Themes will include; Soils/Plants, Tracking and Animal Signs, Fish, Wetlands, Nature Thru Senses. The  OFAH –Tackle Share Program is tentatively scheduled as a guest this week.
