Venue: Ken Reid Conservation Area
Kawartha Conservation is launching their popular Seniors Walk in Nature (WIN) program for 2019 with a full summer of fun, leisurely, entertaining and educational walks through Ken Reid Conservation Area.
The walks are 1.5 hours in length beginning every Tuesday at 10 a.m. beginning Tuesday, May 21 and continuing until Tuesday, August 27.
Cost is $10 plus HST per person per walk, $60 plus HST for six sessions or $150 plus HST for all 15 sessions.
This is a wonderful opportunity for Seniors of all skills and abilities to enjoy some time out at Ken Reid Conservation Area.
You’ll be guided for a 1.5 hour hike by our staff and learn about the property and the plants, animals and habitats that are here.
This is a relaxed pace on nature trails. Most mobility needs can be met if identified ahead of time.
Come out and enjoy the fresh air, the social interaction, and learn about the trails close to home.
