With more than 1,200 hectares of land under its care, Kawartha Conservation provides access to a number of excellent bird watching locations in the region.

Located 6 kms north of Lindsay, Ken Reid Conservation Area provides some of the best birding in the City of Kawartha Lakes, with excellent habitat for many species including waterfowl and songbirds.

More than 170 species of birds have been reported at Ken Reid Conservation Area.
