Kawartha Conservation launches Watershed Watch Newsletter

MARCH 27, 2024 - Kawartha Conservation is excited to announce the launch of its newest initiative, the Watershed Watch Newsletter, a monthly publication dedicated to fostering a deeper connection between the community and the conservation efforts across the Kawartha watershed. This newsletter aims to serve as a resource for residents from Trent Lakes and Kawartha Lakes to Brock and Scugog Townships, Cavan-Monaghan and beyond, offering insights into the essential programs, innovative projects, essential services, and grant opportunities that are at the core of Kawartha Conservation’s mission.

As stewards of the Kawartha watershed, we recognize the importance of keeping the community informed and engaged in our conservation efforts. The Watershed Watch Newsletter is designed to do just that, by delivering meaningful updates directly to our subscribers, encompassing all facets of conservation work from current field activities to future projects.

“In launching the Watershed Watch Newsletter, we aim to create a platform that not only informs but also inspires action and fosters a sense of community among those who value our natural environment," said Carolyn Snider, Administrative Support, Conservation Programs at Kawartha Conservation. "This newsletter is for anyone who shares our passion for conservation and desires to be a part of meaningful change."

Each issue of the Watershed Watch Newsletter is crafted with the community in mind, offering a window into the world of conservation that is both informative and inspiring. Subscribers will discover a diverse range of content, featuring:
