‘Snowmen at Night’ an enchanting tail for the Story Walk Trail this March
LINDSAY, ONTARIO - Kawartha Conservation is pleased to announce the launch of a new book for the Story Walk Trail at Ken Reid Conservation Area. The captivating tale chosen for March is "Snowmen at Night" by Caralyn Buehner, promising visitors a whimsical journey into the secret lives of snowmen.
"Snowmen at Night" is a heartwarming story that invites readers to ponder the mysterious activities of snowmen after dark. Have you ever built a snowman only to find it in a different position the next day? Have you ever wondered what snowmen do when everyone is asleep? Caralyn Buehner's enchanting narrative answers these questions and more, weaving a delightful tale of snowmen adventures under the moonlight.
As part of our ongoing partnership with the Kawartha Lakes Public Library, the Story Walk Trail at Ken Reid Conservation Area continues to offer families and nature enthusiasts a unique fusion of literature and outdoor exploration. The Story Walk Trail allows visitors to enjoy a leisurely stroll while reading a story displayed along the pathway.

There is no entrance cost to enjoy Ken Reid Conservation Area. Parking is $4 per vehicle, and is good for any of our conservation areas for the day.
