Fostering a connection to and appreciation for the natural world for children at an early age is an important step towards creating a network of local environmental stewards who will ensure the health of our watershed in the future.

Kawartha Conservation’s Environmental Outdoor Education Programs are designed to provide unique opportunities for students to learn in a natural setting. Our education programs are linked to Ontario curriculum and are available for primary, junior and intermediate aged students. Programs are designed to engage students in hands-on activities that extend learning from the classroom into the natural environment.
