Fostering a connection to and appreciation for the natural world for children at an early age is an important step towards creating a network of local environmental stewards who will ensure the health of our watershed in the future.

Kawartha Conservation’s Environmental Outdoor Education Programs are designed to provide unique opportunities for students to learn in a natural setting. Our education programs are linked to Ontario curriculum and are available for primary, junior and intermediate aged students. Programs are designed to engage students in hands-on activities that extend learning from the classroom into the natural environment. Nature Explorer Summer Camp

ATTN: July 17-21, 2017 - FULLY BOOKED

This week long summer camp offered in partnership with Fleming College and Kawartha Conservation for ages 6 - 10 focuses on fun hands-on activities around environmental education and outdoor skills.

Visit Nature Explorer Summer Camp to learn about the staff, camp activities, registration details, contact details and things that are good to know before attending camp.

Would you love to escape your classroom and spend your day teaching in nature?
Local teachers can reserve our outdoor classroom at Ken Reid Conservation Area for full-day or half-day time slots!
